Crown cabs dropped me off to pick up a pizza and get out of the house for a little. The taxi driver was kind enough to book my return home after my pizza was cooked as I didn't have my mobile phone with me. Well after waiting 40 minutes and then walking home with emphysema. Arrived home with a melted ice cream, a cold pizza and called them. Was asked if I'd still like the cab in 5 minutes? I said I'd like to speak with a manger please. Was told they don't take complaints over the phone. Well Crown Cabs. As a DVA Gold Card holder you just lost a really really large sum of money. Avoid these people like the plague!!!
The phone operator was rude and blunt- we had to ring servers times to find out where the taxi was and was repeatedly told ‘it’s 5 minutes away’. One hour later it finally arrived with no apology of why it was late- and then the fare was so expensive! Do not book these cabs!
They promise much but deliver little. They certainly do not answer phones 24/7. They have turned up late just once too often. I have had enough of this poor service and have been let down too many times. I have found another service which is so professional and leaves this mob for dead. No crowns here
