I asked for a quote for my vintage automatic watch.
After 3 days i received a verbal quote. Asked for itemised quote to be emailed to me.
After 3.5 weeks and 12 phone calls staff still refused to send itemised quote. I told them not to go ahead with service. Then i received a phone call stating that service had been done, and if i didnt pay the watch would be stripped back. They also stated that due to corrosion from the battery my watch had extensive damage. I had to tell staff at the chermside store that it was an automatic watch and they do not have batteries.
This alone was a red flag, as well as the disgraceful service i would inform others to stay clear and do not allow them to handle any of your expensive watches as you are asking for trouble. I was finally told on 2 occasions that the boss would call.... Still waiting.... Never again
