The security guards are very rude at the door and are very prejudice and have a high chance not allowing you in for no rational reason. The place is actually fun when you get inside but it's not worth the risk due to security guards on the front door it is not worth your time.
We had a quick lunch break here last week.
They have $10 lunch deals which seem great. A friend had the chicken snitzel for $10 which was covered in cheese and bacon on top. Decent serves.
I had the grilled chicken ceaser salad. This was also quite yummy. A bit too much dressing for my liking so didn't really finish the salad, but this could also be because the serve was quite big too.
All in all, decent food for a decent price. Great pub food.
Despite Crows Nest being a rather nice part of Sydney there always seems to be one of those pubs that simply drags the place down a notch – this is one of those pubs. Okay, I won't dump on it too much because I have been to a lot worse, and to give them some credit they were undergoing some renovations, but after visiting some nice establishments in the area, this place sort of brought me down a bit. Basically it is one of those standard pubs that you find scattered about the place, and it doesn't seem to have anything about it that really makes it stand out. Okay, it may look better when the renovations are complete, but somehow I'm not expecting much.
I'm not sure what to make of this now... it has been refurbished and looks really nice, new upstairs bar and outdoor area. It still has the old feel, but I will reserve judgment until there is confirmation that there will be live rock music on a Friday and Saturday nights. Don't let me down Crowie
