Unfortunately I purchased an expensive crystal which I was assured was genuine. I did have my suspicions as it was very unusual and like nothing I had seen anywhere before. I have since had it tested by an accredited gemologist. Much to my disappointment, it is a laboratory simulated fake, probably imported from Asia somewhere, where fakes are rampant, but very difficult to detect unless you are a qualified gemologist. This explains the unusual colour and texture. I was assured this was genuine. Feel cheated. Will never buy anything from this store again. Buyer beware!!!!
Products are nice, lots of jewellery but not enough carved/polished stones. A little over priced, and customer service is pretty terrible. I've been a few times and staff never engage me to ask if I need any help with anything. So after standing around for 10+ mins I have to try to get someone's attention, but they always seem too busy chatting with each other at the counter right in front of customers. Pretty poor service which is a shame, as otherwise could be a good little shop. I hope they realise soon that they need a lot of improvement in this area.
A Fabulous Crystal and Gift store, one of the oldest in Australia. The owner travels overseas regularly to seek rare gems for setting - the Jewellery is really great - so is the collection of healing stones, books, aromatherapy etc.
This is a must see shop - and with all the coffee shops and restaurants around in Melbournes Little Italy ( Carltons other name) it's a good day out for any visitor to Melbourne.
