We hado gone twice to this shop and we liked their service and seemed to be knowledgeable. We took their advice before setting up our new aquarium. We were happy to recommend them to our friends.
But today, that perception changed. We had gone there again for the 3rd time. As always we were excited to get some new fishes. My 3 yr old son was touching one of the aquariums and he tapped the glass a few times.

Not sure why all the negative reviews about this shop? My experience is this place is awesome! Great range, good prices and top service and advice. The selection and variety of aquatic life is amazing. I was told the shop went through an ownership change at the start of August This was obviously a change for the better. Would highly recommend this store to anyone interested in aquariums, beginners and serious aquarists alike. To anyone who's written this shop off, I think you will find your experience very different to your last visit :) Highly recommended
Do not buy fish from here!!! I have bought many fish from here and they have either been sick or brought some form of disease to my tank. The staff claim to have perfectly healthy fish, but every time I have gone in I always see dead fish in tanks. (take a look for yourself!, look carefully). Ontop of that, the staff are rude!!
That's is disappointing to hear. It has certainly not been my experience with Crystal Palace, I cant recommend them highly enough. I think if you gave the store another chance you would find your experience under the new management very different :)
I have often visited this shop to buy fish and fish food..today went to buy a plant to put in my fish bowl and was absolutely surprised at the staff who served me..
At first staff served a lady who was waiting after me..(which was fine as the little boy I care for and my 83yr old nana) were enjoying looking at the fishes & I was in no rush..
