On a clear evening from Cucina Locale's windows you can see both the city skyline and the Blue Mountains. It feels like the geographic heart of Sydney, though I'll hazard most of you didn't even know this revolving restaurant was here. It's not surprising really; unlike the others in Sydney's revolving restaurant set, Cucina Locale isn't located in a towering high-rise, or in the heart of the CBD. I visited this Restaurant for high tea with friends. As the only revolving restaurant in Western Sydney, they really gave me the 'wow' factor when I entered the restaurant. Love the stunning 360° view spans from the Blue Mountains to the heart of Sydney. The price in understandably quite high due to the elegant decor and amazing view they provide to the customers. However, the dessert and savoury menu from the high tea were not outstanding. I am yet to try their other menu.

This restaurant is no longer called "Hi-lights". It has been refurbished and appears much more elegant. It's now known as; http://www.cucinalocale.com.au/home/ We ate there for the first time last night, since the change in management. It is now fine dining. All of the dishes that we had were delicious and well presented. The prices were reasonable, considering the excellent quality of the food. I will definitely go there, again. It is a good place to go for a special occasion or when you just want a quiet meal in a peaceful environment.
