Cumberland Education is a multi-disciplinary centre for all literacy, speech & language, and learning needs. We have Speech Therapists, Educational Psychologists, Literacy Specialists, and Occupational Therapists working together to help students achieve their full potential.

Our expertise is in identifying why students are not achieving to their level of potential, and designing AFFORDABLE yet professional services ensuring their full potential is realised.

We help all ages: pre-schoolers to adults, via personalised assessments and individual sessions. We have 50+ years of experience successfully working with many thousands of individuals in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Our assessments are designed to meet the specific needs of the individual, and may include testing such as IQ, Speech & Language, Learning Difficulties such as Dyslexia, Perceptual Strengths and Weaknesses, Gifted and Talented, Learning and Achievement, and specific Literacy and Mathematics Skills.

We assess to thoroughly understand and measure all learning strengths and weaknesses. Understanding a student's unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses allows an individualised and specific program to be prepared. These programs enhance and emphasise student learning strengths, whilst avoiding and (where possible) remediating learning weaknesses.

Our one to one treatments include services such as clinical therapy (e.g. Speech Therapy), specialised evidence-based learning programs, tutoring in all school subjects for all grades, school readiness, English as a 2nd language, TAFE and University subject support, and Selective School placement preparation.
