Cupcake Central Workshop

Well, this place certainly took me back to my childhood – a place that basically specialises in cupcakes. I would say what’s not to love about a place like this, except that I’m not a huge fan of cake myself. However, it still stood out from all the other offerings about, so it was certainly a necessity to give it a try, and I have to admit they certainly don’t disappoint. They have a pretty good range of cupcakes to chose from, and they will even do you a coffee (at a price of course), and considering the other options for coffee nearby, the offering here wasn’t all that bad. Certainly a place to check out if you are looking for something a little different.
Very busy cupcake central. Not only are people lining up to buy cupcakes but people are also lining up for hot drinks to have with their cupcakes. Located in Melbourne central in a small corner, it was really hard to get seating. Within the store there was a cupcake lesson happening which was visible to those outside. Hot chocolate here was really nice, it didn't have the standard taste but a little bit rich and thick and fluffy. Great location only needs more seating. I wouldn't usually come to a cake store for a hot drink but can count on cupcake central for some good hot chocolate.
A nice open place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with a cupcake
- had mini red velvet cupcake with a cappucino...the cupcake had a nice icing, though the cake itself was slightly dry..but it didnt taste bad considering it was a mini one
- coffee was great :)
- nice place to sit and admire the hustle bustle in melbourne central
Another active team meeting requires some sugar and sweet to keep the energy level going, so mini cupcakes were ordered from cupcake central. The variety and different flavours were so hard to pick but my colleague seem to got it right. Delivered nicely packed and secure, presentation on each individual mini cupcake looked so good that i wanted to eat each one but of course was to share so was not able to try them all. I had 3 different one. Chocolate one, oreo one and a vanilla one with strawberry cream topping, that was my favourite. Usually not a big fan of cream the flavour tasted like a cheesecake and went well with the vanilla sponge of the cupcake. Gobbled down so quickly. The thing with these mini cupcakes is that its so easy to eat and never enough. All cupcakes were easily finished and everyone enjoyed it.
