Licorice is set high on a cliff in amongst the trees and has fantastic bay views.
Licorice Cottage is pet friendly with a 6 foot wooden fence and undercover carport area.

Peppermint Cottage is an old Queensland workers cottage decorated in French provincial, with two bedrooms both with queen beds. Peppermint has a gorgeous breakfast area set high in the treetops with a small view of the bay from the lounge.

The roads are a mix of bitumen and well-kept dirt roads, suitable for normal vehicles, the Island is approximately 6.5km long and 1 to 1.5km wide.
Macleay Island has a bowls club, golf club, pub, cafes, bakeries, fish & chip shop/Chinese, pizza shop, art gallery, organic farm, 2 IGA size stores, chemist, doctors, dentist and post office.
Bike, standup paddle board, kayak and boat hire available on the island.
The Island has both Passenger and Vehicle ferry services
