Curve Cafe & Bar

I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed with this place. It looked nice from the outside but it didn't seem to be set up all that well when I went inside. It took me a couple of tables to work out where to sit (they were either too high or too low). Anyway it is basically the restaurant that is attached to one of the Vibe hotels, not something that really attracts me since I tend to prefer independent restaurants rather than restaurants that happen to be attached to a large chain. It wasn't that cheap either – the breakfast was one of those breakfasts where you add bits and pieces and the more you add the pricier it becomes. Okay, the tea wasn't bad, but its not a place that I would be hurrying back to any time soon.

I have heard and passed by Curve Caf & Bar numerous times but it was only a few weeks back that my colleagues and I decided to try this place for a group lunch.

The place was very low-key. There were no special decorations -- just tables, chairs, and enough open spaces right up to the outdoor area to keep the place cozy and comfortable (just be aware that the outdoor space was a smoking area as per when our visit).

Service a bit slow, But the salt and pepper squid was lovely! and the lunch deal of $12.50 for beer and meal is really good value. Would definitely eat there again

Sub-standard service, poor selection of drink options and staff that appear more accustomed to checking-in guests at the hotel, than serving drinks.
