I love this place! Cypress Lakes offers a variety of one, two and three bedroom villas. I have only ever stayed in the three bedroom villas, which consists of a generously sized master bedroom and ensuite and two other rooms upstairs. The villas are cosy and well-kept, and the service is great.
Some of the villas are situated a distance away from the main reception area, but the resort offers a free shuttle bus service to pick you up from your villa and take you to the reception area all you have to do is call!
I love the lagoon pool and the golf course (though it would be better if I could actually play golf), and the Golden Door Resort Spa is perfect if you want to spoil yourself for an afternoon (or an entire day!)
The buffet breakfast is also a big drawcard for me. There's nothing better than having a long lazy breakfast out in the sun taking in views of the golf course.
A lovely hotel - it's great having your own villa. However the service was very average. We ordered room service and had a piece of wire in one of our meals. There was also a number of frogs and ants in our room which wasnt pleasant and the hotel staff took a long time to come and help us out. Pity as the hotel is lovely, with beautiful surroundings and a great day spa.
