Daniel comes from a family of Jewellers and is a fifth generation Jeweller who loves and has passion for his craft. Daniel's experience in the jewellery industry started 17 years ago when he began his apprenticeship with his second cousin Craig Carolan in Dubbo. Craig and his lovely wife Kay have an amazing business in Dubbo named Kings Hall Jewellers and produce some of the finest handmade jewellery yet to see. Daniel owes a lot of his knowledge and experience to Craig. Daniels Great Grandfather opened a Jewellery store in Dubbo in 1919 named Whitney's Jewellers which is still going today, both Kings Hall and Whitney's owned by the same family. Daniel was taught traditional bench methods from the start and have a great grounding in manufacturing and repair work.
Designer Jewellers is passionate about the beautiful gems we use in our creative designs. We will work with you to create your own masterpiece right here on our premises to suit your budget. Do you want your engagement ring custom designed and made? Do you have broken bits and pieces of gold gathering dust in a drawer? Don't like that old ring or pendant that was given to you? Or have you inherited a piece of jewellery that you would like to remodel? We can remodel, replace and rebuild almost any old jewellery. Daniel uses CAD software to design jewellery for clients so clients can see a three-dimensional image of the jewellery before it is made.We don't charge for this service. Come and talk to Daniel to design your next piece of jewellery.Daniel does all repairs, including ring sizing, new claws and re-tipping, rhodium plating for white gold, soldering links and much more on site. We also do jewellery valuation,insurance, watch batteries and watch bands.
