Dennis and his two sons came very highly recommended from a family friend. Having spoken with a few painters prior to engaging Dennis we new what the likely cost would be for painting our timber cottage, inside and out. Dennis' quote was not only competitive but the quality of workmanship was far supperior to the other painters work which had seen. Dennis and his sons are brilliant. They have been painting homes for us since the 1990s and we wouldn't let anyone else do the job. They are so particular about quality, so the paint job lasts for a long time. They are honest, hardworking and top quality tradesmen. We recommend them to friends and family all the time.

We first had Dennis paint the entire exterior of our large timber house in March 1993. We contacted Dennis on the referral of a friend who had fired his first painter mid-job and had Dennis do it all over for him, and he was very satisfied. Since that first project, we have had Dennis back many times as we improved and extended our home, and he has just completed some more work for us almost exactly 24 years from our first experience. We asked for a quote to paint the exterior of our house. Dennis came and quoted and his quote was 3 times higher than anyone else, I think he just didn't want to do the job in which case he should have just said so instead of wasting everybody's time. Not a professional approach if you ask me

Dennis has been a painter for 55 years and prides himself on the quality and workmanship of his work.
He has had a successful painting business that spans over 4 decades and he gets a large majority of his work from word of mouth recommendations.
This kind of reputation in the building industry is very well respected and he has achieved this by only providing quality workmanship at all times.
He doesn't cut corners, or use cheap products or equipment, or spray.
So yes, his quotes are higher then his competitors, but when his work lasts much longer then others, it's clear that the work speaks for itself. Please be assured that he certainly took your quote very seriously and we hope this clears up any questions or doubts you had.
