Dance Central Canberra

DC have since dealt with my issue very effectively. They were ready to listen. It turned out it was just a teacher - student incompatibility. They changed my child's class and she is now progressing very well at DC. I would reccommend this dance school to others.

Very disappointing. My child learnt more in 2 months of dance classes at school than a whole year at Dance Central.

My daughter loved Blueberries, even though she was only two and a half then and had a very short attention span. The teacher was just lovely and so patient, each class was varied enough to keep those little ones excited for the next thing, and they "perform" this little dance that they learn over the course of the term at the end, which is very cute. Exposed my daughter to different dance styles, which was also nice as I didn't just want her to do ballet straight away. Recommend.

Very disappointing experience at the Blueberries class. Zero fun and very little dancing. It is advertised for 2+ year olds and it's just not appropriate for that age. Especially when there is more emphasis on saying "please" and "thankyou" every five seconds rather than having fun. Wouldn't recommend this for toddlers with a personality.

Dance Central is run by some people with the youth and vigour to continuously improve their business. They run classes for 3-5 year olds ('Blueberries'), teenagers and adults, with styles ranging from ballet through tap dancing to hip hop. In short there's something for everyone and the staff on the counter could not be more friendly.
