They cover all styles of dance from RAD & CSTD Ballet, Jazz/Tap/Hip Hop/Break-dance/Acrobatics/Song & dance/Mummy & Me & private singing, with all teachers specialised in their field. They cater for all levels of peforming expertise, Beginner to advance. Coming off 4 sell out concerts & a record number of students in 2009 the students and staff are definitely on a high. The school is situated in the Deer Park/Caroline Springs area and has a huge 600 square metres of floor space. It comprises of 3 dedicated dance rooms with full length mirrors, sprung floor boards & ballet bares and all rooms are fully equipped with reverse cycle air-conditioning. They also provide shower and change room facilities for students. For parents who are waiting for their children they have a large waiting area with comfy couches, cafe and a children�s play area. This school has proven to be a very family friendly environment where parents can come and unwind with a latte in hand while their children participate in class. It�s no wonder why Dance Effects has established itself as one of Melbourne�s leading performing arts schools in the west.
The schools Principal Rebecca Demicoli credits the success of her school and its students to her elite team of industry professional teachers, who are always striving to make each student the best performer they can be. Rebecca also credits her great support staff, which are always at the studio ready to answer any questions as they arise.
2009 proved to be a very successful year for all students participating in Exams and competitions throughout the Melbourne area, with many students and groups receiving the highest placings possible in all competitions entered and CSTD/RAD examinations. Have been a part of this school now for 3 years after trying several of the other local schools and I cannot praise this place enough!! My children are so happy here and it also caters for the parents making it a great place to catch up with friends with a caf and huge waiting area for us mums! Great teachers great vibe and a great place to send your kids!!!
