For many people these days, their first contact with a business is either a brochure that lands in their letter box, or a web page. As with most things, first impressions are very important. If your very first impression of a business is a badly designed or set out brochure, full of spelling and/or grammar mistakes, that business, no matter how well it is run, will not make a very good impression on you, in fact you probably wouldn’t even give it a second glance.
The same can be said for websites; it is all well and good to employ someone to create a super amazing website, full of the latest greatest web gizmos and flash content. But if your entire website is full of misspellings, poorly worded and grammatically incorrect content, that certainly mars the whole impression that you are wanting to create.
Your business is your livelihood, and it is a direct reflection on you as a business owner. This involves all facets of the business, including advertising and web content. It is up to you to present the very best impression of your business that you can for existing and new clients.
