Animals from all over the world - We have animals from Africa like the majestic Lions (including White Lions), beautiful spotted Serval wild cats, stripy Zebras & crazy Baboons, from South-east Asia we have mad Monkeys, tiny Antelope and gentle Deer the children can feed, giant Snakes from Asia and South America as well as Capuchins & Marmosets (tiny monkeys), Llamas, brilliant endangered Macaws, and many Reptiles like the giant Green Iguana, American Alligators and baby Giant Tortoises. We also have Australian animals such as Koalas, Dingoes, Wombats, Wallabies, Cockatoos of all colours, and much, much more!

The Zoo is open every day, except Tuesdays, from 9am until 4pm (last entry by 3pm). However during Queensland State School Holidays we are open every day, closing only on Christmas Day.

It is best to plan your visit around our educational presentations:

10.30am Crocodile talk and photo session
11.15am Asian Monkey talk
11.30am Big Cats feeding
1.30pm South American Bird talk
1.40pm South American Monkey talk
2pm Meet a Python
2.30pm* Big Cats feeding * only on weekends & holidays

Animal interactions like the snake photos are free to enjoy. We also have Animal Encounters with our Lions & Marmoset monkeys that you can enjoy for an extra cost... it's not every day you can pat a Lion!

We have a sausage sizzle every day between 12pm & 1pm as well as pies, and such available all day. Real coffee, cold drinks, ice-creams and crisps are also available. ...read more
