Darren's Aircon

After obtaining numerous quotes for installation of a split system air con I chose Darren for his competitive rates, the system was installed the next day & Darren kept in touch beforehand with his times which was great. Though it was a tricky job for his electrician they worked through it professionally & the finished job has been perfect! Darren & his workers were all very friendly, tidy & efficient. His card is on my fridge for recommendations!

I have recently had Darren remove 2 air con units and replace with 2 new ones. Darren was on time, professional, and very well priced. We had previously tried to get quotes from 7 other providers who all ignored our emails and calls. Darren was able to provide a quote and a time to complete the work the next day, all in one quick phone call. All the work completed was done well and am very happy with the service.

After scrolling through various local air con suppliers & fitters, I came across Darren and am pleased to advise he is well worth doing a deal with to supply & fit a new reverse cycle domestic air con system. One other dealer wanted to be paid 50% of the total cost before coming on site to do it! Another wanted a $50 fee to send out a worker to look at our house! The anti-Darren "very poor" reviews are fairly old so they don't seem to make much sense to me because he and his helper came here with all the right gear which they set up and had working within about three hours - first having taken down the 10 year old system which had given up - all on prior word of mouth to be paid for after the job was done - which it was.

Our job involved removal of an existing split system and the supply and installation of a new one. Darren and his off-sider were timely, pleasant, efficient, tidy and (always important) did the job for a very reasonable price. We particularly liked that it was one fully contained package, that is Darren not decommissioned the old system but also supplied and installed the new one. If we had purchased the new one through a large retailer we would then have had to negotiate with someone to do the other two parts of the job. Thank you boys. Job well done.

Pretty bad attutide when trying to make the appointment to be honest. But the worst part was that a few days after the installation, the aircon stopped working. Just seemd like the power to it died. Tried calling Darren a few times and after finally picking up my calls, he tried to blame it on me as if I had done something. I asked him if he or his electricians could come and take a look at it and he relecuntantly agreed and told me he'd give me a call the next day to arrange a time. 2 months later and after countless calls and texts I still haven't heard a word from him. Thank god the aircon decided to somehow start again otherwise we'd be screwed (especially being mid summer!). Super bad service! Sometimes it's worth paying the extra money and getting a REAL PROFESSIONAL. If I could rate this a zero, I would.
