After visiting numerous bike shops in Bathurst with little success we drove to Orange to check out Darryl Grant Cycles.
Exceptionally helpful, explained the benefits of more expensive bikes but also that when you went past a certain price point there wasn't much difference unless you were an enthusiast (hydraulic suspension, different gears etc...).
Not remotely pushy just information on the pros/cons of different models & specs and they didn't speak to you like you were clueless, something I had found in other shops (maybe with being a woman?)
They set the bike up to 'fit' there and then. Very happy with everything.
Would definitely go back if I needed anything else and would happily recommend to others.
