David Ferguson is a Brisbane counsellor specialising in gambling counselling, binge drinking counselling and counselling for alcohol addiction.

I have been counselling in Brisbane since 2009 and I am educated up to Masters level and received my last postgraduate counselling qualification from the Australian College of Applied Psychology in Brisbane. Previous qualifications were gained in the UK prior to my arrival in Australia.

I currently specialises in counselling people who are struggling with binge drinking, alcoholism, gambling as well as those people who are looking to change direction in their lives. I also help adult survivors of childhood trauma and sexual abuse.

I currently co-own Amima Counselling in Brisbane which has developed into one of Brisbane?s most successful counselling practice over the last four years. Previously I worked for a dual diagnosis NGO providing counselling and group psycho-education to clients. I have run groups in Brisbane, various prisons as well as the Park Centre for Mental Health (high and medium secure).
