Unfortunately my partner and I were very disappointed when we hired the DJ/MC/Dancefloor package for our wedding last November. The MCing by Dave was relatively good as well the dancefloor setup however the DJing was a bit of a let down. We were promised a DJ as well as the MC but they didn't turn up and no communication was given about this. Although Dave did his best we didn't feel he understood the technology or was prepared.
5 minutes before our first dance song I was asked if I had our song on my phone because he could not find it on the DJ system. I had sent him our song list over a month a go. We ended up dancing to the wrong version of our song because a groomsman had it on his phone. There were also no transitions between first dance, father/daughter and mother/son. We hire them for our work christmas party and they sent a 17 year old as our DJ who swore at guests had no idea what he was doing and played about 10 songs only not including the one done he repeated 3 times. The photo booth kept breaking down and is refusing to refund our money which we had spent a whole year fundraising for very dissapointing service that was provided. DJ kept nicking outside for a smoke, so the Nutbush played 4 times in a row - then he had the nerve to get irritated and threaten to leave when someone tried to figure out how to change the song, seeing as he was nowhere in sight! Wouldn't take requests, and music choices were terrible! One minute there'd be a great dance song, getting everyone out on the floor... next minute everyone wandered back to tables because a random country song would play!
Don't even get me started on the photo booth - the screen kept freezing with no clear countdown, so nobody knew when the photos were being taken to pose! And that was when it was functioning!
And customer service is non-existent, dodging calls post-event!
