Whilst the pizza's remain excellent due to the new owners retaining the chef, i have become concerned about their cleaning.
called in last night to collect a pizza and the pizza box and cutting shelf were covered in balls of dust. They are storing pizza boxes on top of the wood fire oven which clearly the top of which hasn't been cleaned.
as they pull the boxes off the oven top they are covered in dust.
Quite amazingly I pointed this out to the chef but he just gave me a stare and picked up a new box. I cannot understand this line of thinking and it makes me wonder what is going on in the rear.

The food is good, the wood fire pizza is EXCELLENT! THE BEST IN FAIRFIELD! I would highly recommend the pizzas to vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The food sometimes can be a bit bland but its always very hardy and nice. I never eat in I always get take out but let me tell you 1) staff are so friendly and always willing to help , unlike some places where they couldn't care less about what you want. 2) the delivery time is a lot faster then most of the pizza shops near us. 3) we never feel awful the day after
