Overpriced for what you pay for and understand why there are no prices listed anywhere...I felt like the owner pulled the price out of thin air to see how much she could get from me. The professional services in Myer do the same exact service for half the price with better quality products.
So angry. I booked for a manicure in August for my November wedding; I arrive for my appointment and they have "no record of it". I made it with Deborah herself, confirmed it and still they got it wrong. Then they try to blame me! Did I have the right place? They didn't even have a nail technician on Tuesday so they wouldn't have booked it. Etcetera, etcetera. Excuses excuses. I could have cried on the spot; no accountability and no remorse - did not even say "sorry".
Just had waxing and tan done at Deborah's nails in the Myer centre. I wish id read the reviews before I booked. $200 dollars for 2 eyebrow waxes, a bikini wax and a tan.... when I queried the pricing, Deborah herself told me I was at fault for not understanding the difference between a msintainence wax and full wax... what a load of rubbish. The woman makes up the prices as she goes along and the poor consumer is left with inferior services at a premium price. The quality of work is poor for the cost and I couldn't believe that even given the opportunity to rectify this with me before I posted a review Deborah made no effort to appease my concerns. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IS MY ADVICE!!
I'm bruised on my eyelid from the Waxing and the tan is worse than a home job... and I've spent so much I can't afford to see another beauty therapist.
DO NOT GO THERE!!
That is If you are looking for a relaxing time with good customer service.
My first visit here. Went in despite 2 dirty looking pedi chairs with stained foot baths as I was in a hurry and her shop came first in my line of sight.
Was told that for a basic pedi it was $55 and for their shellac alternative it was $65 . While the owner was talking to me about my options , I took my shoes off and said I wanted shellac if possible on my toes as I always get either shellac or gel toes. I also have gel nail polish from OPI at home which has been easy to remove every time I have a pedi with no extra charge ...read more
