Amazing view from the restaurant which makes the experience all the better. The service was great and the food was fabulous.

Amazing views , spectacular food and fantastic service . The place ticks all the boxes. The staff was friendly and attentive and went that extra step to make us feel special. We had the special for the day "Mushroom risotto" and it could well be the best risotto I had till date .
Happy to go back any time .

Great location ruined by unfriendly staff, a menu that doesn't match what is served and flavourless food. Regretfully it's prime location will keep attracting unsuspecting diners. Nothing but 1 star.

Mother's Day is not recommended at The Deck. And I certainly won't be trying it on any other day of the year. My awful experience began when booking - They were incredibly put out by my request for a window table. It's ok if it can't be accommodated, just let me know politely. We were then greeted by a surly maitre 'd who begrudgingly took us to our table. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and nice but the mains were absolutely dreadful! The pork fillet arrived and was the consistency of a squash ball accompanied by cold potatoes. And the spatchcock was delivered quite undercooked and pink in parts. The 1 hour wait for mains was definitely not worth it. Then when paying the bill by credit card a whopping $60 tip was automatically added to the bill!! Well Im surprised to read the review below . I think I was there on the same wednesday" Paella night " and we had a great night with a group of friends . The staff were very busy as the place was booked out and we came for the later seating., but they were all friendly and chatty and gave a great service . SO Im writing this review to say what a great fun buzzy place the Deck is contrary to what others have criticised weve been twice now once as for our company Christmas Lunch which was first class. The group share plates were a great way to share when dining in big groups and the food was delicious. The Staff were really attentive and made our day memorable . The Manager on the floor was so helpful and made sure that we had everything right through the day, Admittedly the whole place was booked out and it was noisy but it was a great atmosphere right on sydney harbour..
