Decks Seafood & Steak Restaurant

Decks occupies a picturesque setting in the Brisbane South Bank parklands, with views of nature and glimpses of the river. The open, welcoming space is home to a modern Australian menu which focuses on fresh Australian seafood and beef, with a few vegetarian choices. Oysters, Atlantic salmon, scallops, mussels and prawns are all woven into appetising dishes, while steak is served with mash, onions and grilled tomato. A childrenâ??s menu is available.

We went and ordered from the Deck's takeaway after visiting the Lifeline Bookfest on the Sunday. The price wasn't too bad for buying meals in the CBD. The meal was well cooked, the staff very courteous, and our order came out very quickly. So by the time I got the drinks back to the table, and then wandered back to wait for my order, I only waited an extra minute. We got the $16 basket, which was good for two adults and a toddler.

my wife and i dinned at decks last weekend, we had the best experience imaginable. the service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and it could not have a better setting. i would defiantly recommend this restaurant for anyone, i will be back!

Good for a quick meal of fish and chips. Never fails in terms of quality but it isn't so great in ambiance. But you can always take away and sit somewhere in Southbank to eat.
