Degani

This is by far the best degani I have ever visited! I took my mum there as a special thank you for helping us to move house. We had a shared platter to start of dips, pitta, olives fetta & salami - it really would have been enough on it's own! We had a voucher, however & it gave us mains & dessert also. Main was a seafood platter to share also & it was unbelievably huge & delicious - a massive serve of garlic prawns, barrimundi & the most tender salt & pepper squid I remember having. Mum & I saw a movie after & were raving to the girl at the ticket counter about the calimari - she said she'd had it & they're well known for it, so take all our words for it & get over there - it is good ?? We took our cake & coffee away to have with the movie, & I appologise for being a broken record but their cake is awesome too! Great caf with a decent outdoor setting and relaxed vibe if you are out in the Roxburgh Park area and at the shopping centre. They have really good wood fired pizzas. The prosciutto one was particularly enjoyable for me. The prices are reasonable. Sometimes I come here for coffee if Im in the area and I think the coffee here isnt too bad for what it is. The service is varied depending on who you get, but overall not a bad restaurant/cafe. They also have a good breakfast menu with the usual museli and eggs benedict.

A fair long drive from home to visit a friend and probably the only possible decent place i know or could identify in Roxburgh Park. As not familiar with the area i caught up for breakfast with a friend at Degani. As expected average as i have been to another Degani before and the atmosphere and expectation is similar all around. Muffins and poach eggs. Standard serving and average prices to fill your stomach, the poach eggs were actually pleasant for a chilli saturday morning. Service was quick and speedy. Nothing to really comment as Degani was not busy. It was actually quiet and the staff was more focus on us therefore could not fault. Just enjoyed the average breakfast and we were out within an hour. I just have to say this Degani is a bit better than the other one i have been to because was able to sit outside where there is more natural light compared to being in a closed no window centre.
