A Doula has a few roles, but helping the mother and father identify their options, is quite an important one for me.
This is YOUR birth, YOU are in control.
I am here to help you find your strength and gain what you really want from your transition into parenthood.
You may know exactly what you want and are seeking to improve your chances of having a natural birth,
but you are not guaranteed to receive the support you need from the midwifery services.
A midwife can provide support in labour but only if she does not have other duties, time constraints or other patients.
Maybe you are in a quest to avoid medical intervention?
