This opulent underground drinking den will shield you from the heat while also tricking you into thinking you're in a Wes Anderson film. Inspired by the 1920s actress, Della Pringle, Della Hyde pays homage to luxe lobby bars from around the world. While at Della, it's only appropriate that you experience the Della Pringle's Tingle ($18) – gin, rose vermouth, mango, basil, lemon, bitters and soda.

Later, as we argued over which of Anderson's films was his greatest cinematic achievement (The Royal Tenenbaums, obviously), we shared the popular Della Pizza ($24) – spiced lamb, olives, onions, spinach and labne on a filo base, which for the record, set the bar pretty high for the future pizzas in my life. Escape, kick back and drink!

A work colleague told me about this place. She said I had to try the expresso Martini.
So I gave it a go. It's a really cute bar hidden underground, quiet cosy and small Iv been a couple of times and both times hasn't been to packed which is good but the dance floor was always busy.
They music was great they played bro's of old school RnB that's what had me.

Not a bad place to start a night out.

This place is really cool. I loved the interior vibes, and on the night I went jazz was playing. It's a great place to go with the girls for pre-drinks, because this bar has a slight bit of glamour to it so you can come dressed up!

Great to have another underground bar on Oxford Street. Has a plantation feel underneath with some really quirky decor. The cocktail menu is really interesting and the specialty espresso martini with caramel is a must try. Arancini balls are also good if you are having a pre-dinner drink.
