I am a Vietnam Veteran who had a car organised to pick me up from Perth to take me to Bunbury. About an hour from Bunbury the vehicle was pulled over by police on the South West Highway due to the vehicle being both unregistered and uninsured. As a disable Vietnam Veteran, this caused me a great deal of distress as I was forced to wait on the side of the busy South West Highway for nearly an hour as the police would not allow the vehicle to continue until the matter was resolved which meant I didn't get to Bunbury until after dark. These vehicles are organised for me by Veterans Affairs and due to this bad experience I have told Veterans Affairs I am not prepared to travel with them again.
We chose Deluxe Chauffeured Cars even though it was more expensive than other companies as we thought it was a reputable company who would be sure to be on time and reliable. We pre-ordered a car to drop us off at 3.30pm at a wedding one hour from our home and pick us up at 12.00 to return us home. Our driver to the event was lovely, however after waiting until 12.10am we called to see where our car was and they just said that it had just been CANCELLED WITH NO EXPLANATION AND NO REPLACEMENT VEHICLE LEAVING US 1 HOUR FROM HOME AT MIDNIGHT IN THE SWAN VALLEY. Our daughter had just fallen ill at home which made the experience even more stressful. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE THAT WANTS AN ON TIME AND RELIABLE SERVICE!
No reliable - Took 3 adults and 4 cases to airport in comfortable big car, however sent small to collect same group from airport, staff couldn't raise anyone at Deluxe and wound up helping us out to the taxi rank where we had to queue in 41' heat with 81 yo mother, (were we fitted into the one taxi) Deluxe then refused to refund any of the $80 I had prepaid. Bad end to the holiday
