The manager is nasty, and rude. I purchased a $350 dress that was steamed and put in a plastic slip with the receipts and tag for a wedding that I am now unable to attend. I wanted to return the dress as it was only 12 days since the purchase and you can tell it had never even been taken out of the bag or worn at all. the manager wouldn't even look at it or consider it, she shut it down . Very rude money hungry! Also most clothes overpriced and bad quality.
Department's eye catching window displays are sure to draw you in and, once there, you will almost certainly find something to suit. Department has great little evening dresses and an appealing range of accessories. An asset to the Beaufort Street Strip.
After Sales Service/Customer Service practices at 'Department on Beaufort' are questionable ???
My daughter bought a very expensive pair of jeans that started to fray 1 month after purchase. The item appeared 'faulty' and as a Department customer she should have been offered a full refund (normal business practice when a faulty garment has been returned and cannot be replaced, or where a suitable item cannot be found for an exchange) instead of being told that the 'faulty' item had to be returned to the USA for 'assessment' in order to determine if it is a in fact a manufacturers fault ! Whoever never heard of such nonesense. 'Department on Beaufort' you need to do the right thing by YOUR customer and then take up the issue of a faulty garment with YOUR suppliers as you are their customer - get your priorities in order.
