Pretty pricey for an average charcoal chicken place. The quality is just the same as a chicken in the supermarket. The packages they had to go with chips and drinks and a quarter chicken or instead of chips a salad seems a bit over priced for the serving. I have noticed it has had a change of management so im not sure if that had anything to do with it. Good to know and good i tried as its the only way i can decide whether to come back next time or not. For what is being served as average charcoal chicken, i wouldnt be paying for it next time. There was nothing that wow me or made it different from any other charcoal chicken place ive been.
Not good! I chose a chicken fillet burger as I didn't want a deep fried schnitzel burger, which was also on the menu board. Ended up with a small crumbed deep fried chicken breast filet with heaps of salt. I had to pick off the crumbed batter and put it back in the bun. The sweet praise type mayo was yuck made the bun soggy it was an unpleasant off putting meal and cost neatly $7 won't be back.
Since new management took over the packs have become smaller. The shop is not open on Sundays but also appears not to be open on Monday's either. For a resident of the small community of Derrimut, I find it hard to believe that a small business could afford to be closed so often.
Not happy and now will travel to the Burnside for dinner, which is a hassle but at least when I turn up they are open.
