Excellent cakes, although a little on the expensive side.

Ordered mini cakes on a clear stand for my wedding in August 2007. Were delivered as far as I know without problem. Lots of varieties/types of cakes to choose from - fruit to chocolate. Pastry is second to none. They all tasted wonderful. My favourite was the peppermint mudcake - sounds unusual but tastes very yummy. Service is a bit more organised than on initial contact with them. They seemed to be suffering from being too popular at first but it seems to be in hand now. Every time I'm in Charlestown my husband and I love stop in the shop to bring some little cakes home.

Nobody anywhere makes cakes as nice as designer delights. We ordered our wedding cake from this shop, we personally designed it, and it was a beautiful cake to look at as well as eat. We now buy all our cakes from here whether we are just having people over for coffee or for a special occassion, and they are always fresh and unique. A must for any cake lover.
