A friend has been raving on about this place so I finally gave it a go and Im so glad she was right! I absolutely love Vietnamese rolls but a lot of the places use really hard bread which makes it harder for me to enjoy (roll with a side of blood from the cuts on the edge of mouth? Not yum). Their bread was just amazing, like I don't even know how they bake it that crispy and yet so soft in the inside?? Luckily there was no one there so we got our order straight away. I ordered the chicken roll and my boyfriend ordered the crispy pork roll. Both super delish, however when they ask for chilli just tell them a little bit, as they just packed all the chilies in and my mouth was on fire the entire time. Their sauce they use is a on a bit of a sweeter side, but that's just the minor things. Defs worth it!
So these guys make their own bread fresh which officially makes it the only pork roll place I have been that hasn't cut my mouth. Their bread is soft but still holds all the meat and salad ingredients well with sauce...it's sort of perfect. They just opened up in the new shopping area in Mascot and I'm so glad that they did. Destination roll is now my favourite cheat lunch on a Saturday. The crispy pork roll has an amazing meat to crackling ratio and is ridiculously moreish. They use a generous amount of salad as well as the meats and the sauce is flavoursome but not overwhelming. If you enjoy Vietnamese pork rolls then Destination Roll is a must try. They are always busy too but get to you pretty quickly, I'd say that's a testament to how good their rolls actually are!
