DeVine

Every time I passed DeVine, I used to think that this place was just a typical pub where CBD office worker bees frequent after a hard days work. That was until I was made aware that it is actually an Italian restaurant. Having seen its good reviews on the net, my friend and I decided to pay a visit.

I visited with a few girl friends on a Friday night. The venue has a nice sophisticated atmosphere. There is plenty of indoor seating and a few tables on the pavement out front. Im not a wine drinker but my companions seemed to like the range. Service was polite and friendly. We didnt eat, just had drinks.

Nice atmosphere and decor, but the prawn pasta I had wasn't that great. The service was very good though. I'll probably try it again.

It is a really nice place if you are a wine lover. They have knowledge about their wines and have a great selection. I don't recommend this place if you only want to grab dinner.

Though I have had pizza here a few times, I wouldn't call it a restaurant as much as a wine bar which serves food. Though I am giving it four stars, I totally disagree with the description above stating "generous portion sizes" as when I am here and see those around me eating, the sizes are tiny.
