I had the most unpleasant shopping experience here. The middle aged assistant was rude, unfriendly, and trying to kick us out of the shop so she could close 90 mins earlier than the actual closing time of 2pm on Saturday. This was despite two separate customers in the store trying to find ball gowns. She actually asked me twice whether I was actually there to buy or whether I was just looking. She got in a huff when I asked to try on a third dress. She was condescending when I said I didn't think the dress I tried on was flattering for my figure. The other customer in the shop was also shocked at her behaviour, remarking to me "she can't sell $600 gowns and treat people like this"!
I ended up buying a gown from Raimonds in Subiaco. Got excellent service there, great selection of gowns, and I was respected as a customer. Would never go to Devoted Boutique again.
We are extremely sorry to hear of this experience you had this should never of happen. The middle age assistant you are referring to is no longer at devoted boutique.
