I had the worst customer experience ever with this business. I took a footy jumper there to have a iron on number put on the back which is a 5 minute job. I dropped it there on a Friday and was told to come back on Monday. When I arrived Monday afternoon I was told that it had not been done and to come back tomorrow. I went in on the Tuesday at lunch time and it had still not been done. They told me to come back later in the afternoon. I left it until 4pm on Wednesday when to my disbelief I was told it had not been done!! On each occasion I spoke to a staff behind the counter who didn't really care how much they had inconvenienced me and wasted my time. I asked for the jumper back and said that I would take it somewhere else to which he replied " what ever it's not the end of the world" This tipped me over the edge. Under quoted on two items and then I was expected to pay double what was quoted on pick up. Also put a silk tie into have the padding realigned. When I got it back the padding had been completely removed, and tie was nothing like what it was when I dropped it off. Will never use this dry cleaner again.
I put my woolen underlay in to get dry cleaned and picked it up a week later paid $40. When I put it in the car I cold smell a very strong chemical smell but it was in there plastic bag so I didn't think it was anything to worry about and went shopping. when we returned to the car it was filled with a horrid smell of chemicals. We all put out windows down and raced home to try and air it out. 4 days later it still smelt very chemical like. So I called them to tell them I wasn't happy. They said sorry we had a new person on and if they had put it in the plastic bag before it had aired it will hold the smell and that if i brought it in they would fix it. I went in and the staff said all they could do was air it out and that's what its meant to smell like its been dry cleaned. they couldn't smell the chemical smell but I could. I took my underlay and the other quit I had left there and left the shop shaking in anger at there lack of customer service. what ever happen to the customer is ...read more
