Dicksons Refrigeration

How they are still in business amazes me. Every dealing with them has been a very long drawn out process. The only reason we have used them is because of warranty work where the manufacturer of product has contacted them. The attitude of the staff is appalling. Had the owner come to a job and his attitude was a disgrace. If that is how the owner is no wonder every one else is the same. When ever you mention Dicksons everyone has a story of their own. They are truly a joke.

They had my fridge for 3 weeks. The only call I ever received from them was that the fridge was ready to be picked up. Turns out they hadn't even touched it in the first week and were waiting on a "$100 defrost timer for my particular fridge", which I only found out at the end of the second week when someone was able to tell me what was actually wrong with the fridge and why it was taking so long. Every other call before that was a run around and they never returned a single call. In the end they charged almost $200 for a $30 part which takes less 5 minutes to swap out. The part they changed was not an original part for my fridge, they used an Invensys defrost timer, part number 1415435, which 6 months on has burned out.
