Chose this place randomly for dinner as we were walking pass, service was quick, they had attentive staff. Yumcha menu was small compared to others- the things I usually order, which are simple things, they didn't have on their menu. Ended up ordering a dish from the normal menu alongside the yumcha my partner ordered. We found the food quite plain, not much strong asian flavors with the noodles, shallot pancakes and the Chinese steamed veg with oyster sauce. As with other yumcha places they didn't usually put a price to the items, when we got the bill it was quite dear compared to yumcha we had elsewhere last week. Not sure if I would come back - definitely not for yumcha.
We'd been eyeing off this place for a while and decided to head in. It was not the best yum cha I've ever had but it was far from the worst. The twice cooked dumplings in ginger glaze were brilliant, the sping onion pancake was nice as were the chive dumplings, scallop dumplings and king prawn in rice pastry. The salt and pepper squid was crispy and tasty. The service was good. Overall is was a good yum cha experience without the crowds and mania of a weekend yum cha (not that that doesn't add to the yum cha experience in my opinion!)
