Terrible experience. We ordered a shower screen and mirrors and was told it would be a 6 week lead time. 3 days later after paying a $1000 deposit due to unforeseen water damage we had to pause the order, straight away direct glass said ‘glass is cut but no problem to pause’ for 10 weeks we kept them updated including going into the show room to discuss a variation in order. Direct Glass said this was fine and even happily cancelled a small part of order citing it was no problem. On re measure for shower screen and another small job they sent the quote and then a $920 bill for cut glass, never mentioned prior or during multiple conversations. If they had spoken to us we would have had the opportunity / choice to stay with the original plan. This was so misleading. We are now having to take it further to get our money back. A company with poor communication and lack of transparency.
