Hilarious, like previous posted 'hoped for the better' I had the same experience. Lovely calls, texts emails, then the bill comes through and it was $2500 compared to another quote of $500.

In the end, I got fed up with their outrageous pricing and chose Len @ Tile & Roof repairs. He came around and smashed the job out for his day rate.

Dj Daisley are just a bunch of rip offs. I had used them once in the past for a refacia, huge cost and done by their boys.

Very unhappy with this company - all smiles and politeness initially, chose the quote out of four I carefully gathered, which was $1000 dearer than the others, based on their hundred years in the business. When they sent "the boys" in to do the work itself, there was no oversight of the quality of the work, and the "bosses" focused on whipping the boys onto the next job as quickly as possible (to maximise their turnover & profit). Not only this, but they used second hand offcuts to replace downpipes, didn't install the spreader I'd paid for (instead improvised with an offcut from another job), and reinstalled the velux window at the incorrect angle (which caused it to leak), despite having been requested to include this in the job at the time of quoting. If you are looking for roofing repair guys who are passionate about what they do and who care about the quality of the work they do, you have found the right guys. After dealing with some rip-off artists who charged me a fortune and left my roof in worse shape than it was in before they came, my carpenter recommended DJ Daisley & Sons, so I gave them a try. What an absolute pleasure it has been dealing with them. I will never let anyone else touch my roof again.

The boys did a great job. Reasonable price and top service. Definitely recommended.

A job well done. Their tradesmen were a pleasure to deal with, they turned up on time and cleaned up afterwards, which in my experience is rare! Their workmanship was excellent as it was a tricky job I highly recommend the DJ Daisley team.
