DJK Air Conditioning

We had aircons at Oxley, where we used to live, until we were hit by the floods. Troy came out and helped us revive our aircons in the 2011 floods. He managed to get them all working again, where other companies would not even help us. Fast forward to 2022, where we were hit again. Well Troy came out and saved a few of our units again! The Mitsubishi are the best ones around and DJK have been fantastic with service. Yes sometimes they can be harder to contact, but what business isn't. I'd highly recommend them due to customer service, helpfulness and aftersales service. We are going to get ducted in our new house, and we are asking DJK to install.

Lack of customer service. Installers arrived late without an apology, no urgency shown to replace faulty new unit, and many contacts required to get a receipt. A frustrating experience.

We needed new installation of several air cons. Unfortunately I had totally different experience with this company. They rushed in and out within 5-10 minutes to do a quote. Failed to identify some important structural problems while every other companies did. Then didn't even bother sending a quote. Never return phone calls or emails. If this is the customer service you get before you even get an installation, can't imagine what the aftercare is like with this company. Would totally avoid them.

My Daikin air-conditioning unit showed signs of unhappiness yesterday and as a low income earner with a chronic health condition, I was quite nervous about the potential cost and time it would take to have it repaired, *if* I could afford it. I phoned DJK and explained to Derrick what my air-conditioning unit was doing and he managed to fit me in the following day (today). Derrick immediately went to work and not only fixed the problem, he also cleaned the filters for me! When I asked how much I owe him, he replied that he took note of my comment re financial and health concerns (when we spoke on the phone yesterday) and generously charged me a very low price. I don't know if this is standard practice for DJK, but I very much appreciate Derrick's kindness towards me, as well as the obvious fact that he's fixed my air conditioning unit and don't have to face a long hot summer without it!
