What is 'Dog Listening?'
In the most basic terms Dog Listening is using the dogs own language to communicate.
This method used by DogEase has proven to be the gentlest, most successfully and effective method that dogs respond too.
We believe the better understood a dog is, the easier their life will be which results in more freedom and a better relationship with you, resulting in a happy dog and a happy owner.
Dog Listening is all about leadership and how to communicate to your dog that you are capable of being the leader of your pack, meaning that you are the strongest, fittest, most intelligent and most experienced this is done without any aggression, force or gadgets. Once your dog has elected you as leader your dog will be calm and happy taking away their status as leaders will also take away with it responsibility of having to be a leader in a world they do not understand. When dogs are given the role of leader (which you may not even know is what you have done) they can not cope, therefore they will act out to the best of their knowledge and ability to try to make things right this is when you see bad behaviour they just don't know what else to do.
Dog Listening is not something you do to your dog it is quite simply a lifestyle you have with your dog.
Behaviour Consultation:
A dog listener will come to your home to assess the behaviour problems you are having with your dog. During the consultation (which may take up to 4 hours) you will learn the skills of Dog Listening and how to put this method into place, you will also recive a written program to follow. On going help is given for the life of the dog.

My neighbour's new dog was driving me insane - barking intermittently through the night and at me whenever I'd go to hang out the washing. I'd heard about dogease through my friend and so gently hinted to my neighbour that they should give Dogease a try. Sure enough they did and I'm back to having restful nights and enjoying my own backyard again. Yay!
Our dog weighs 58kg at 12 mths. Like any puppy, she is very excitable which is fine at half her size but not at 58kg! We seemed to spend our time yelling "Ruby NO" (just ask our neighbours!). It was impossible to walk her and she refused to come when called.
A friend recommended Sacha and the results have been nothing less than extraordinary. We quickly learnt that we were the ones that needed training on how to be leaders to our dog.
Now Ruby actually listens to us. We can take her for walks, if we tell her to drop, sit, stay, heel, come ... she will do it without hesitation.
In my opinion, Sacha is the Dog Whisperer of Brisbane and I cannot recommend more highly. She's a great girl, says it how it is, gives loads of advice and most importantly, gets the results and fast!
I heard about Dogease through a friend. With a new baby I was keen to get out walking but felt guilty every time as we would leave our gorgeous Labrador at home. She's never been easy on the lead but with the pram, I found her pulling got worse and I felt unsafe. Sacha immediately understood our worries and I felt confident in booking a course which could also address some other problems. Sacha showed an amazing understanding and ability with our dog.
