Domayne North Ryde

We ordered a queen bed which was delivered today. The delivery guys were amazing. They kept us up to date on delivery progress throughout the morning. On arrival they were polite, courteous and went beyond what was required completely assembling the bed including the legs. Highly recommend them. The Domayne staff were also friendly, helpful and accommodating.

I purchased a bed on a Sunday. After a bit of thought, I decided to cancel the order due to personal reasons (i.e. not 100% on moving situation). I called the next day to cancel the transaction. Domayne charge 20% fee (so I ended up paying about $230 in fees) if you want a refund. The staff member said they would send me a receipt for the refund and the money should be back in my account by the end of the week. A week later I call again as I had not received the receipt in the mail or the refunded money in my bank account. Staff said they had done their job properly and that it wasn't really their problem and that most likely is a problem at the bank. Another week later (i.e. 2 weeks after I requested the refund) the money was still not in my account. I called to ask why this was the case and that I STILL had not received a receipt in the mail. It was interesting to find out that the bedding section upstairs and the furniture portion on the first level are actually individually owned businesses- so it doesn't make much of a difference if you are buying both a couch and a bedding package (which is what I did!)...oh and a dining set!
I was looking for furniture for over a year and a half and coudln't go past the great deals these mass producers have just before the financial year end.
Though you may not feel comfortabe- you can actually bargin and negotiate prices here. Considering Domayne is owned by Gerry Harvey's wife ( and his recent haggling tips were on tv recently) I had a renewed sense of haggling optimism stepping into Domayne- and I wasn't disappointed.
Got about 25% off the Bed, about 25% off the dining set and a few hundred off the couch... overall good value. It's not designer furniture - but when you ...read more

We dropped by one day to look and try out the beds and after two or so hours of lying on beds, we ended up buying both a bed and mattress

The service was great, and the staff were very patient in explaining to us all the different types of beds, and also allowing us the time to try out and choose which mattress we wanted.

For anyone looking for a bed/mattress, definately pop by domayne as they have a large variety to choose from for any budget

Also, be sure to negotiate the price to get a good deal!
