Don started Don's Taxi Trucks and Furniture Removals over 40 years ago with his son, Robbie, entering the company 25 years ago, and being a family business, both work very closely with our team overseeing all facets of our day to day relocations and operations.
Don's Removals & Storage have been committed to quality and service from our small beginning and now well over 40 years continues that commitment to each and every one of our customers.
Don started the company with one small taxi truck as an owner operator and now boasts a range of vehicles ranging from a tray back utility, to large furniture removal vehicles, all specifically configured for the safe transport of furniture and personal effects.

We have used Don's removals 5 times now for ourselves and family. Robbie and his team have been most professional and friendly every time. Dons removals is awesome. They are a family owned and operated local business who go above and beyond to help in what can be such a stressful time .. I've moved with them twice now and used storage.. they really helped so much I would recommend them to anyone and use them again if I ever need to.
Don's to the rescue...
Don's Removals filled in for us, on late notice, when the mover we had originally booked reported an accident and couldn't do the job. Dons were given wrong information by the other removalist and sent a smaller truck than required, which meant extra loads and working on well after dark. And of course having been led to expect a much smaller job, our huge load was an unpleasant surprise. There were some heavy and awkward items, too, and plenty of fragiles that were extremely precious.
Somehow, over several loads, everything arrived safely and with everyone still smiling.
Next time, I'll book Dons. Hopefully there won't be a ''next time'', because I've moved more times than I care to remember, and I like it where we are now. But if you are reading this review, you should book Dons.
