Explore some of Ballarat's exciting history, sample the local wines, or take a short drive to the Pyrenees Wineries, enjoy a game of golf at one of Ballarat's many clubs, or just unwind with family and friends and enjoy the surrounding views from your cosy cabin. Ideal for families, children can play safely away from busy roads, while parents relax. Farm animals for the children to pat and feed and seasonal activities such as lambing. Never so insulted in my life. After taking close friends away for 3 nights we were accused of trashing the place and was told we were not welcome back....why? Because there were crumbs left on the floor and under couch cushions, and two valances on the bed had to be ironed. My guests were asked at 10:45 when they were getting out despite check out being at 11am and we were asked why we were still on the property at 11:30am ( we left our cabins at 11am and took the kids to visit the animals for one last time before driving home). To top it off I was then accused of breaking the porta cot from our last stay, where in fact we took our own! Never ever in my life have I had this problem while staying away and never been spoken too like I was here. Also very disappointed with the fact that the guests I had paid for to come along to the trip were abused, not a great way to end a trip for close friends who had supported me through illness and in general.
