Doyles Restaurant
Doyles on the Beach is an institution in Watson Bay. Located seconds from the sand and water, this weatherboard building has plenty of rustic charm. Originally opened on this site in 1885, Doyles is full of character and history. The menu contains classic fish and chips choices, and more complex seafood dishes. Ask the staff for any chef's specials. Similar to the tourists, celebrities and locals, you too will come to love this family-operated restaurant that has spanned five generations. If you are travelling to Watsons Bay, why not catch the ferry and enjoy the view?

Didn't have a great experience here. We originally booked to have a table outside, this wasn't available so was seated inside. Once we were seated it took at least 15 minutes to get served for drinks, the restaurant wasn't even that busy as this was on a weekday. The slow service continued throughout our time there, the waitress did not smile once and was slightly rude by slamming our food down on the table. The only good thing about experience was the food, I will not be coming back.
Unfortunately i can't rate this place high enough despite my excitement driving up to this place.
To start with despite the fact that the place was not busy at the time we had arrived and we had booked a table. They made us walk around to the other end of the place only to be told to wait in a short queue. How does that make any sense? then we were moved back to where we originated from to sit???
