I took my car over to DPM a couple of weeks ago after a referral from another service centre. Michael attended to me right away and - within five minutes - managed to fix a problem with the windshield wiper tube that the authorised service centre was going to charge me $300 to fix. Not only did Michael save me the $300, he did a perfect job and refused to let me pay for his time saying it was a quick and easy fix. DPM are obviously not looking to make a quick buck and believe in getting the job done without a fuss. I would trust them for their advice and the quality of their work any day. And their excellent customer service is an added bonus.
Incompetent employees unable to work on vehicles as advertised (eg.BMW) When first picking up my car worker was unable to tell me exactly what work was done to my car but knew exactly what money to take from me. Drove away and the car was in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I then contacted the owner and was told to bring my car back. After paying more money again I picked my car up for a second time and this time it was ok. A few weeks later I called DPM to book my car in for some extra work to be done. I was told by the owner (MICHAEL) NOT to bring my car to DPM service centre any more as his own employees do not feel comfortable working on my BMW as they fear of complaints when work is not done correctly.
DISGUSTED IN THE UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The team at DPM were brilliant - I crossed the nullarbor with a gearbox problem, called them for advice, drove in the next day and they made time to diagnose and sort the problem, I was really happy with the professional 'no fuss-lets fix it' approach. I am from Perth, I wish these guys were my local mechanics.
