I am Alex Alexander and I am a specialist in the field of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and infertility.

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991, and then completed my specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in Queensland hospitals.

Following my Masters in Health Administration (MHA) from NSW university, and a course on minimal invasive and ?key hole? surgery in Sydney I opened my practice in South Brisbane facing the Mater Hospital.

My special interests are:

general Obstetrics and high risk pregnancy,
Gynaecology including minimal invasive and ?key hole? surgery, menstrual disorders, cervical dysplasia ( pap smear abnormalities and treatment ),
Infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction (including IVF) and reproductive endocrinology.
I deliver at The Mater Mothers Hospital, and operate at the Mater Private and Greenslopes hospital. I am also an associate and senior specialist at the Queensland Fertility Group ( QFG ). ...read more
