We came back to Dr Cathy Lee for our second child. We enjoyed the experience second time even better than the first. Cathy is a caring lady who devotes 110% to her patients. She is very responsive and considers feedback professionally. It's hard to find a doctor who is available 24/7 on mobile who will put your worries at ease. Cathy has many years of experience both in China and Australia, I guess you'd want to find an OB who's seen and done it all before. What I like most about Cathy is that she cares about you holistically as a person, not just the baby. She can be harsh and honest with her comments and you may feel offended, but it also shows that she is passionate about her work and about you. Should we have a third child, we will be returning to Cathy.
Dr Cathy Lee is not just an expert obstetrician but more importantly she is a caring person and a lovely lady from her whole heart. Many people have called her "Cathy Mama" and I truly believe she has earned her title.
Every visit we have with Cathy has been very rewarding as she gives so many tips from what to eat, to avoid eating, how to support growing belly, procedures, how to heal the scar from the c-section...her 24/7 contactability is also very famous.
During our hospital stay Cathy would come to see us every evening to ensure everything was running smooth, which has certainly put this daunting task at easy. The whole procedure turns out to be so memorable largely because of Cathy's care.
I would highly recommend Cathy for any future mums to be.
Dr. Cathy Lee is ok as doctor , but be careful what you say to her. She can be rude to you , embarrass you. She doesn't like to repeat to you so if you miss something bad luck. She might think that you stupid and she hates stupid questions even if you think they important and if you don't listen to her advise she will get very angry and upset with you. I don't think I would use her again.
You couldn't be any further from the truth. She would never embarrass a patient, never think anyone is stupid nor ask stupid questions, and too right you should take her advise because she is the professional. If she thought you're questions were stupid, why would she text her patients back at 2am over a stomach cramp and a little headache? Best OB in Sydney.
Here I am talking about my experience and it may not be nessasary the same as yours. So lets share it.
"Ning (my wife) could be the toughest patient that I ever treated." This is what Cathy told me after we had our first baby boy. Dr. Cathy Lee is the most caring and authentic person that I have ever met! Me and my wife experienced quite a trouble for just getting preganant, and just keeping the baby alive until delivery, is tougher. Before we met Cathy, we thought having a baby is a legend to us. However, by using her talent and many years experience, Cathy has provided her kinded heart, most authentic advice and professional service to us. Thank god, we had our first baby boy Michael come to the world healthily and happily in year 2012. During the preganancy we became close friends and of course, she delivered my second baby boy in 2014 as well! Not just saying that she is available 24hr any day, but any piece of advice she gave, is true from her heart! Thank you Cathy! My family is so happy to have you as a friend!
Dr. Cathy Lee is an obstetrician who goes the extra mile for her patients. I chose her because I'd heard that she takes Friday evening appointments which saved me from taking time off work to attend the numerous OB appontments throughout the course of a pregnancy. Trivial reason for some, but for me it was a huge relief to not have to take too much time off work.
