Dr Damian Smith is committed to providing high quality, caring and personalised Orthopaedic care to the Canberra Community and surrounding districts.

Dr Smith is a graduate of the University of Sydney. He successfully completed his Orthopaedic training in 2008 and then went on to complete post graduate fellowships in orthopaedic surgery. This saw him train overseas in the United Kingdom in internationally recognised fellowships in hip and knee joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery and paediatric orthopaedics.

Dr Smith is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and member of the Australian Medical Association and Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Dr Smith specialises in hip and knee joint replacement, sports injuries, arthroscopic and knee reconstructive surgery. He is trauma trained and regularly works the on call roster covering orthopaedic trauma and fracture management at The Canberra Hospital.

Dr Smith sees private and public patients in his rooms at Woden Specialist Medical centre in Corina St Woden. He has also started consulting on Canberraâ??s north side at Ochre Health Hub in Bruce. In addition to these locations, Dr Smith runs a regular orthopaedic clinic at The Canberra Hospital every fortnight.
